Beautiful violin-shaped wall-mounted cartel and its console in red horn (tinted tortoiseshell) and rich ornamentation of chased and gilded bronze decorated with volutes, consoles, ribbon knots, florets, shells, acanthus leaves, rockeries, branches, etc., resting on four small arched feet (small accidents and alterations). Bronze dial inlaid with enameled cartels, signed "Dechamp à Toulouse", indicating the hours in Roman numerals, the minutes in Arabic numerals. Complication movement striking the hours, quarters and halves (suspension modified, not yet revised).
Transition from the Louis XV and Louis XVI periods.
