Small antique wall clock, made in France towards the end of the 19th century (circa 1880–1900), in an elegant Rococo style. This decorative model is richly adorned with gilding, hand-painted flowers, and a bucolic scene depicting a young woman in a romantic landscape.
The enameled dial displays Roman and Arabic numerals, and the mechanical movement on the back is numbered 1278, with the mention R.M. The mechanism is present but untested – sold as is, in need of servicing.
