Very important violin-shaped cartel in Boulle marquetry, finely chased natural bronzes and brass inlays. Very rich and abundant decoration.

The overall height of this piece is 140 cm with its console.
The feet are each surmounted by turbaned heads.
Central decoration with allegories, putti, dolphins and musical attributes.
The cartel is surmounted by a female figure resting on a skilfully chased bronze pedestal adorned with eagle heads at each corner.
Below two chimeras facing each other, the enameled cartouche dial signed "Martinot à Paris" is engraved with a cock.
Richly decorated inner door.
The bracket is openworked and decorated with masks representing Louis XIV as a child.
The mechanism has been entirely overhauled by our watchmaker and is in perfect working order.
