Large Clock inspired by the sculpture by Claude Michallon (1751-1799) representing "Psyche crowning Love".
This Pendulum illustrates an episode from the myth of Psyche in which she is about to place her white crown of purity on Eros' forehead. The two lovers are dressed in a simple veil which hides their nakedness; they put on their respective attributes, angel wings for Cupid and butterfly wings for Psyche.
This large group in regulates with brown patina surrounds a delicately chiseled central bollard containing flowers and torches. In the center, a white enamel dial accompanied by its fine golden hands is decorated with flowers and signed "René Bonnaud - Fontenay le comte". His glass is curved.
