Important portico clock in white Carrara marble, mercury-gilded bronze and brown patina.

On a marble base with projections, and decorated with a gilded bronze frieze decorated with cherubs playing music on clouds, two scrolled consoles decorated with flowering foliage and sunflower flowers support the movement. These consoles bear applied caryatids draped in the antique style.

At the cushion, two cupids, each holding a garland of flowering foliage, frame an eagle with outstretched wings.

The clock is placed and presented on a turquin blue marble counter-base

The wire movement strikes the hours and half-hours.

Parisian work from the Louis XVI period.
