Beautiful ormolu set, consisting of a clock and 2 candelabras, on the theme of music: a woman is seated on a stool with horse legs, a musical score in her hands, her lyre resting on the ground behind her. The base of the clock rests on stylized bird legs, with the heads on the sides. The bronze is signed D Marie
Dial with porcelain cartouches, surrounded by 2 medallion portraits
The 6-light candelabra are mounted on a vase with the same portraits as on the clock, and on a base with solemn eagles.
G Picard's signature is found on the foot at the back of the candelabra, in very small characters.
Good overall condition, beautiful gilding, some wear and tear and a chip on a porcelain cartouche.
