Pendulum in gilded wood representing the goddess Hygeia with the serpent wrapped around her, her head in the palm of her hand, on the other side Eros (Cupid) blindfolded resting, above the dial a cup or covered pot , base finely decorated with interlacing friezes, vines and foliage, from the late 18th century.
This clock is in good condition and is of exceptional quality. The movement works but will need to be revised. We have the key and the pendulum, the ringing bell and the bolt have been changed. Beneath the base, the pendulum leaning back reveals a cache. The different elements (woman, cherub and cup) move and can be removed.
A note: some wear of time, tiny lack of gilding, tiny scratches on the dial, take a good look at the photos.
