    Three-piece mantel set consisting of a clock and two vases.
    The sea-green marble clock has a concave-angled base decorated with a chased brass motif depicting two swans and a fountain.
    The base is supported by bronze spinning top feet.
    Four cylindrical columns, also in marble, embellished with bezels at the top and bottom, support a gilded regule sculpture of a panther on a rock with the inscription France.
    The white enamel dial, graduated in Roman numerals, is encircled by delicately chased cords.
    The pendulum is decorated with the face of Louis XIV beaming in his capacity as Sun King.
    This set is accompanied by two regule vases, with scroll handles and mascaron, garland and acanthus leaf decorations.
    Each vase rests on a stepped sea-green marble base.
    In addition to its usefulness, this distinguished and beautifully crafted set will decorate a mantelpiece or a piece of furniture of your choice.
