    Pendulum and Urn In Neo-Greek Style By Ferdinand Barbedienne (1810-1892) and Louis-Constant Sévin (1821-1888).

    Pendulum said to be Etruscan in black marble and decorated with polychrome champlevé enamels, the angles are decorated with mascarons in high relief representing masks of bearded men and separated by a frieze of Virginia creeper in champlevé enamel. The dial is also enamelled and the movement needs to be reviewed, the pendulum is missing, the glass on the back is broken, the clock bears the signature of the manufacturer, publisher and founder F.BARBEDIENNE and attributed to the designer-decorator Louis-Constant Sévin .
