Important rectangular terminal clock with floor, in black marble from Mazy, stamped by the watchmaker Viel & Delrue Succursale de Frossard Quai Pelletier 30.
This timepiece crafted at the end of the 19th century features an important bronze, with a brown patina, depicting a gladiator seated on the ground, dressed in a cuirass, carrying his shield on his back. This fighter holds in his hand an olive branch which, in Western culture, is the symbol of peace and victory.
The clock face, enamelled, is graduated with blue Roman numerals for the hours. The needles represent arrows.
The mechanism bears the number 523.
This clock will dress the furniture of your choice with chic and refinement.
