    Keyhole frame model illustrated in Derek Roberts' book "Continental and American Skeleton Clocks", a reference in the field.

    Like ours, the clocks described are from the 1830s/40s and have a number of points in common (thin brass bar acting as the plate, knife suspension, shape of the escapement fork, etc.).

    The clock and its globe are in good condition, with no damage or missing parts apart from a few "hairs" on the dial.
