White marble and gilt bronze clock, terminal-shaped flanked by bulbous columns topped with fruit baskets and foliage and scroll decorations. At the top, an antique vase decorated with flowers. The white enamel dial is signed by Cronier in Paris. Beautiful chiseled and gilded bronze hands with openwork fleur-de-lys shape. Original wire movement. Louis XVI period circa 1780.

Antoine Cronier is one of the most prestigious Parisian master watchmakers of the 18th century, who collaborated with the greatest bronziers such as Osmond and Vion as well as great cabinetmakers such as Latz. Master in 1763, he was active until the end of the 18th century.

Original wire movement that appears functional and complete (overhaul to be entrusted to a watchmaker for cleaning and start-up adjustments: service on request, contact us). Beautifully crafted model, in excellent condition of gilding, some minor lacks in the decoration.
