    - Tapestry fragment, woven by a Brussels workshop around the middle of the 16th century. This weaving depicts a landscape with abundant vegetation, akin to Verdure. Among the many plants reminiscent of a thousand flowers, a rabbit is being attacked by what appears to be a wolf.

    - This fragment can be compared with the work of the Brussels workshops of the mid-16th century. The theme, the meticulous design, the fine weave (7 threads/cm) make for a supple textile, the materials used (wool and silk) and the fresh colors suggest the use of grand teint.

    - Condition: some wear and old restorations (see photos).

    - Dimensions: Height: 40 cm ,Width: 90 cm
