Very beautiful 19th century Provençal quilted quilt.
On the front side, the body of the indigo work is decorated with simple stitched diamonds which give a beautiful impression of relief.
The border presents a series of stylized flowers and laurel leaves, spiraliform ornaments common in the traditional repertoire of Provencal folk art.
We discover 2 hearts which unequivocally translate love and the ardor of feelings.
The back of the short tip is made of a beautiful printed cotton canvas with a yellow background offering a seedling of various flowers including roses.
Note that the quilt is a little more worn on the indigo side, it has small pitting on the surface of the piece and a few stains,
the reverse side is very fresh and less worn.
Item to be cleaned and sold as is.
