<meta charset="UTF-8" />Large Aubusson carpet from the Napoleon III period - late 19th century. Light in color, in beige tones, our carpet has a beautiful Louis XVI style decoration - scrolls, bouquets and crowns of natural flowers.

The Aubusson Manufacture has been recognized for the excellence of its productions since the 17th century, for French carpets and tapestries. First Royal, Imperial then National, it was a supplier to official palaces and great families of the aristocracy.

Elegant object, an essential for a great French decoration. The effect produced by 18th century seats and furniture on a French carpet has nothing to do with an Oriental carpet.

Good overall condition. The light colors (beige tones) give a lot of brightness to the room for which this carpet will be intended; the carpet is originally light in color: it makes it bright and lightens a room when large red formats can be heavier. It has no tears or stains.

Very rare in this fresh condition.
