    5 silver-plated service bells with broad ribs and gadroon moldings, the frétel richly chased. Second half of the 19th century. Diameter: 26 cm - Height: 30 cm. 39 cm long and 25 cm high.
    Some dents on the gadroons .
    Rare to find a set with the dish warmer underneath.
    A mark on the rim marked silver and punches that we have not deciphered .

    From 1750 onwards, the cloche plate cover became more and more common on tables, and its use during a meal was called "l'assiette clochée", i.e. setting the plate in the kitchen before transporting it.
