I am offering for sale this superb Louis XVI style silvered bronze table centerpiece from the late 19th century, circa 1880, in fine condition. It is in two parts, consisting of a large jardinière and a tray with a mirror.
This table centerpiece is adorned with a delightful 18th-century-inspired decoration of ribboned rushes, laurel branches and foliage scrolls. The planter is fitted with its original Le Creusot blue crystal bowl in perfect condition.
Most probably made by Christofle!

The silver plating is in good overall condition, despite some minor wear.
Very decorative on a table, and practical since the tray can also be used to place dishes.
