Pretty cut crystal candy box and solid silver lid, 1st grade Minerva hallmark. Unfortunately the goldsmith's mark, crushed, is illegible.
The lid is decorated with a garland of leaves and mistletoe balls placed around the rounded and smooth central circle.
The Minerva hallmark is very readable and is close to one of the two small, not very serious dents on the edge.
The crystal container is decorated with foliage and arabesques. Its background is classically decorated with a large star with 24 fine branches.
This little candy box will join your window or better yet will hold our grandmothers' violet pastilles or honey candies.
