The silver metal centerpiece is distinguished by its circular stepped base, decorated with gadroons and crossed ribbons. The circular top is also decorated with a frieze of crossed ribbons. The central, fluted shaft ends with two acanthus leaves and supports a circular basket decorated with crossed ribbons.

The central shaft supports two arms of animated shape on either side, decorated with acanthus leaves. Each arm carries a basket similar to the central basket, but smaller in size. Both arms are easily removable.

A single hallmark is visible on the base, indicating the weight of silver used for the silvering. However, it is difficult to read due to the presence of the lower tray. No goldsmith's mark is visible.

The total width of the assembly, from one end to the other of the two arms, is 47 cm. The total height is 37 cm. The diameter of the central basket is approximately 20 cm, while that of the two side baskets is approximately 10.5 cm.

The set is in good condition, with small marks and scratches from use only perceptible up close. There is no lack of silvering or distortion.

The centerpiece can be collected in Montpellier, Arles, Marseille, Avignon and surrounding areas. Delivery is possible at cost price, as well as shipping in very careful packaging.
