Louis XV style Silver Copper Travel Kettle, traditionally used to boil tea water, and keep it hot, especially in Asian countries.
It is made up of two elements.
The base, with four chiseled legs, consists of two branches, richly decorated with Volutes. It has in its center a receptacle, which can become a Small Lamp once filled with alcohol and garnished with a wick. Thus become a stove, this 1st element which constitutes this Samovar will serve as a support for the 2nd, a container with a capacity of about 1.5 liters. It opens with a lid topped with a blackened wooden button, just like the generous handle located above. This teapot part, rather sober, however sports a sculpted spout. It will be noted that a grid is placed at the base of the latter in order to prevent the tea leaves from passing into the cup during service.
The whole, practical, but also historically of Quality and decorated harmoniously, will embellish your moments of Conviviality.
