Pair of solid silver salt cellars / salt shakers by Puiforcat.

From the end of the 19th century, their Louis XVI style decor, with garlands, laurel friezes and acanthus leaves, is very careful, as one would expect from the prestigious goldsmith, particularly at the end of the century when the techniques goldsmithing, more advanced than in the 18th century, made it possible to surpass the quality and finesse of the "original" models of the previous century. The interior of the work is made of vermeil (covered with a layer of fine gold).

The salt cellars are matched with Baccarat crystal verrines as well as their original solid silver salt spoons.

Each salt bowl and each salt spoon carries:
- the Minerva 1st title mark (silver alloy .950/1000)
- from one of the most prestigious French goldsmiths, Emile Puiforcat.

They are in excellent condition; no accident; the vermilion is very fresh. No accident, no shock. Attenuated vermilion on one of the spoons.
