Large Louis XVI style salad bowl in Baccarat crystal, vermeil mount (solid silver covered with a layer of fine gold), late 19th century production or around 1900.
Beautiful model cut with hollow ribs and an engraved laurel frieze, the star-shaped bottom, mount on the edge and around the base in finely chiseled vermeil with laurel leaves and crossed ribbons.
This is a large model of salad bowl: the height of 11.2cm allows a large capacity.
The vermeil mounts bear the Minerve 1st title hallmark (950/1000 silver alloy) as well as the Puiforcat house hallmark
Our salad bowl is in excellent condition. No accidents. The vermeil is slightly faded.
