Pair of solid silver salt cellars / salt shakers and their cobalt-blue verrine, beautiful Empire tripod model with busts of Egyptian women, openwork gallery with oval stripes, resting on lion paws. Early 19th century, circa 1810.

Each saleron bears the goldsmith's hallmark of Ambroise Mignerot, the gros hallmark lists departments in use between 1809 and 1819, and a Belgian import hallmark.

They are accompanied by salt spoons of a very appropriate model and size. The spoons bear the Vieillard 1er titre hallmark, a goldsmith's hallmark and guarantee.
