Pair of solid silver salt cellars and their glass, beautiful Empire tripod model with griffin heads resting on goat hooves. Early 19th century around 1800 - 1805.
Each salt cellar bears the 1st Coq 1st grade hallmark (950/1000 silver alloy) of Paris in use between 1798 and 1908, the average guarantee hallmark of Paris, the hallmark of the Association des Orfèvres and the goldsmith's hallmark of Ambroise Mignerot.
They are accompanied by salt spoons (net model) but whose dimensions are well adapted. The spoons bear the 1st grade Minerve hallmark and the goldsmith's hallmark of the Thomas & Hénin house, active between 1861 and 1865 (at the origin of the Hénin & Cie house).
