    A rare and very attractive honey-colored glass and silver-plated honey pot from the famous silversmith Mappin and Webb, founded in 1775 by Jonathan Mappin in Sheffield, England. His great-grandson, John Mappin, joined forces with his brother-in-law, George Webb, in 1862 to form Mappin, Webb & Co., which became an international company producing mainly luxury goods and cutlery. It is in very good condition.
