Here's a Russian kovsh, probably made of silver. This classic piece of Russian silverware is in fact a small drinking vessel. Equipped with a handle on the side, it evokes the general appearance of a ladle and reproduces in gold or silver the traditional shape of wooden cups. The end opposite the handle is usually finished with a carved knob or double-headed eagle. The most precious are made of gold or plated silver.
