Jam maker in silver metal and crystal from the goldsmith Christofle of a famous Marseille shipping company, Messageries Maritimes. The silvering of these pieces consisted of a very good weight to resist the corrosion of sea air, as well as intensive use for restoration. It has an engraving with the acronym of Messageries Maritimes from the 20th century and is in good condition, just scratches from use where the crystal bottle rests, and a very small chip inside the lid (see photos ).
