I am offering for sale this beautiful and elegant pair of silver-plated bronze table candlesticks from the Napoleon III period in good overall condition. They are adorned with an amusing fish-scale motif and rest on a substantial round pedestal. They are characteristic of Christofle's production during the Second Empire, and these candlesticks are attributed to this great house. The stems of these candlesticks are baluster-shaped.
Some slight traces of desilvering should be noted, but this is normal for objects of this age!
