I am selling this magnificent and rare Napoleon III period silver-plated "Filet" menagère in very good condition. It is composed as follows:

12 large forks
12 large spoons
1 ladle
1 stewing spoon
A total of 26 pieces

Each cutlery piece bears the hallmarks of Maison Alfénide, a subsidiary of Christofle from the second half of the 19th century, circa 1848/1850. It is also adorned with an attractive, discreet "SG" monogram.
Very charming and dishwasher-safe with the usual precautions.
Sold in its original crimson-red velvet and silk-lined presentation box.
