Set of 12 Louis XVI style shellfish knives / forks, fine model with silver handle with enrubanné rushes and solid silver fork, handles decorated with an SL monogram.
This is a rather rare piece of silverware, a specific cutlery for tasting shellfish that can also be used as a melon knife.
Handles and blade bear the Minerve 1st title hallmark (silver alloy 950/1000) and the goldsmith's hallmark of Lapparra et Gabriel (active between 1902 and 1923).
All in excellent condition.
