Christofle Art Deco Boreal model household set

Christofle Art Deco Boreal model 187-piece menagère. It's rare to find so many of these pieces together, and in one piece of furniture!
The cabinet is made of solid, varnished beech.
The four legs are slightly arched, lightening the silhouette. It features five drawers with a single-key central locking system. Each drawer is easy to open, with two slim bronze handles on either side. This makes handling easier than with a single central handle.
The Boreal model was designed by Luc Lanel (1893 - 1965) in 1929. He designed almost all of Christofle's Art Deco pieces.
The sobriety of the Boreal model makes it appear astonishingly modern.
The long, flared sleeves are barely curved, with two folds along the length that widen on the way down, accentuating the flared look. They are cut straight across with broken corners. Of all Luc Lanel's creations, only the América model bears a true resemblance, except that the flats run around the handle instead of stopping at the corners.
The menagère we offer is in very good condition, with a beautiful shine. A few pieces have micro-scratches that are not aesthetically detrimental.
