Solid silver chocolatière hallmarked aux Fermiers Généraux de Paris 1774 1780, goldsmith's hallmark of Jean-Charles Roquillet-Desnoyers* (received master in 1772), monogrammed on the body, 17th century.

* Apprenticed to silversmith Pierre-Henri Chéret from July 22, 1761, Jean-Charles Roquillet Desnoyers was received as a master on April 4, 1772, with the support of Jean-Baptiste Chéret. He began his activity around the Place Dauphine until 1788, before moving to the Rue de Mauconsil from 1789 to 1793. The hallmark, inscribed by Jean-Charles ROQUILLET-DESNOYERS on April 8, 1772, is composed of a crowned fleur-de-lys, two grains, JCRD and a walnut tree.
