This type of chair was first produced by KOHN in 1913/ 1915 under N°537, then after the Great War in 1920 and 1925 by Thonet under N° 391/XV, and again in 1928 by Thonet under N°A537, a resurgence of the Kohn launch number, which by this time had become part of the Thonet-Mundus-Kohn group! Fischel takes charge and produces it on a large scale in Austria and France until at least 1935. Cambier in Belgium also produced it in 1930. The model is not common, but here we have a caned example with very Art-deco linking hoops for the legs, which must not have lived in a bistro and could not have come to us in its original appearance. Very good condition, for everyday use, solid and reliable. Seat height: 47 cm, seat: 41X40, total height: 94 cm. Cane redone during life, very good condition. Thonet Tchéco label under seat. More photos and information on request. Shipping France and Europe, collection. Alsace.
