Thonet chair N°14-1/2, thermoformed wooden seat and optional reinforcements in the catalog. This example dates from around 1900.
Stable, ergonomic, space-saving and beautiful!
The 1/2 size (or Kleine Stühle/"little chair") was introduced by THONET as early as 1885 to optimize seating capacity in public buildings.
Seat height: 46 cm - Seat diameter: 38 cm - Total height: 86 cm.
THONET label and stamp under the seat.
Very good condition and patina - original light walnut tone.
