A handsome set of solid walnut chairs, supported at the front by two square sheathed legs, with slight downward movement and grooves. The rear legs are saber-shaped.
They are mortise-and-tenon-jointed at the wide, rounded back. The seat is squared, with traditional straps. The seat is trimmed with green imitation leather, studded all around.
On either side of the belt, wooden elements join the top of the backrest, with cut-outs and movement. The openwork back features a large vertical pilaster in its center. It is engraved with flowers and decorations typical of the Art Deco style.
Delicately carved, these 8 gondola chairs will delight with their rounded, enveloping shape.
