A handsome pair of openwork gendarme-cap chairs, in molded and richly carved beech, the columned backs topped with plumes, adorned with rais de coeur friezes, framing a lyre carved with piaster friezes and decorated with acanthus leaves, rosettes and pine cones, the belts delicately highlighted with rais de coeur friezes, standing on finely fluted tapered legs.
