Elegant chaise à la reine, resting on tapered, fluted and filleted legs, with finely molded waistband and rounded connecting dice. The backrest is basket-handle shaped. An example of furniture
Our armchair perfectly illustrates the distinction between furnishing and flying furniture. Furnishings with flat backrests, known as "à la reine", are designed to stay in place. Our chair is a model that can be described as timeless, and has been reused many times.
Condition report: seat relacquered, with corner reinforcements in the waistband, upholstery redone in blackboard and half-spring seat. Linen fabric.
