Magnificent duo of barrel chairs in the Pierre Guariche spirit. These chairs have been completely restored by a craftsman upholsterer decorator using the methods used in the 1950s: namely that the seat is composed of horizontal springs (replaced) and a mixture of animal and vegetable hair. To perfect the seat and ensure great comfort over time, a wadding finish is carried out. The fabric is a very good quality mottled gray froca. The lacquered steel base is left 100% original and therefore has imperfections, which gives the whole a very pretty patina. Will fit wonderfully into a modernist decoration of the 1950s, perfect for lovers of Pierre Paulin, Pierre Guariche and 50's design. Seat height: 49 cm. Total height: 75 cm. Depth: 51 cm. Width: 53.
