This neo-Gothic inspired arcade chair/armchair model was created by THONET around 1885. KOHN was inspired by it in 1902 and took up the same design overall for its No. 143 with a single piece of curved wood forming the frame of the backrest and the two side legs, in order to give volume it adorns the top of the central legs with turned wooden capitals.
Very good structural condition, very stable, Walnut patina.
Labeled and stamped Kohn Wsetin Austria, dated 1912.
Height: 88 cm – seat diameter: 40 cm – seat height: 47 cm.
