KOHN chair/armchair N°143, labeled and stamped in Teschen in the early 20th century.
This armchair is referenced at THONET before 1890 under N°47 (see catalog). KOHN took it up again and became the real designer with his N°143 from 1902, with a higher back and less massive proportions, and a lamé pattern that was very modern for the time. Fischel and Thonet followed suit until 1930 (see catalogs).
The foot ring is oval!
