Chair by KOHN , circa 1902/1908, unknown in Kohn catalogs, yet stamped by the manufacturer in the Teschen factory. The openwork backrest is similar to the JJK armchair N°721, designed by Otto Wagner. The cane on this wide chair is new, hand-woven in 2.25 mm X 2.8 mm, (SR weave). A beautiful, solid and original piece, it is neither unique nor even a prototype, as it can be found photo-caned in the collections of Julio Chives Chillida and upholstered-Backhausen-in a private collection in Austria (see attached photos). We've kept the two original colors, which blend very well together. Dimensions: Total height: 76 cm, Seat height: 47 cm, Width HT: 53 cm, Seat: 40X45cmMore photos and information on request. Delivery in France and Europe, pick-up in Alsace.
