    *Drouant is a famous Parisian restaurant founded in 1880 by Charles Drouant. It is located at 16-18, place Gaillon, in the 2nd arrondissement, in the Opéra Garnier district. Since 1914, the Drouant restaurant has been the monthly venue (first Tuesday of each month1) for Prix Goncourt juries, and since 1926 for Prix Renaudot juries.
    The restaurant was designed in 1923-1924 by Louis-Hippolyte Boileau, with Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann and Léon Voguet contributing to the decor.
