2 Chaises N°221 by Thonet, a proven model circa 1900, this is a living-room chair that moves away from bistro models while retaining solidity and lightness. Attractive 7-branch palmette in cut plywood. Capitals at the top of the front legs. This model was produced with the "bronze engraving" option on an overall light American mahogany stain. Very fine original condition, 1905 production, typical mahogany color of the period. Cane redone during life in perfect condition.
