Two Fischel bistro-style chairs N°89 ½, with seat N° 47, one of the most sought-after still today. This is the "gendarme hat" chair widely distributed by Fischel between the wars, in bistros of course. However, this set of two apparently sat for 90 years in a hotel room on the second floor of a country bistro. They look like new! But, no, they're all original.
Seat height: 46.5 cm. Total height: 80 cm, total width: 48 cm -Very good condition, original bistro brown color.
Labels under each seat.
Found in the FISCHEL France catalog from 1929 to 1936 under N°89 ½, Usines de Vienne et de Wissembourg, Alsace.
