Ma Boutique Père Lachaise.... du beau pour tous.Here's the famous "kleiderbank" banquette, which literally means "garment bench". It was featured in 4 or 5 Kohn catalogs between 1904 and 1915, but to my knowledge, no real photographs have been published since. At the time, the dress/banquette holder was only available to order in certain catalogs. It was therefore a rarity. Original plain seat with 15 mm double concavity. Stamp (Wsetin) and label on reverse. Walnut stain and medium walnut for the seat. Some signs of use as part of the patina. This bench, designed for wearing or displaying clothes, has a seat height of 51 cm, which is extremely high for sitting in front of a table (a living-room chair is 47 cm, a bistro chair 46 to 47 cm). It is obvious that the molds of the JJK chair N° 46 were used in their entirety as the basis for the ends forming the legs.
