Beautiful broken duchess or gondola chaise longue in carved beech, Louis XV period. The broken duchess is composed of a deep bergère and its foot end, used in the 18th century as a chaise longue or for reading. The beech wood is richly carved with small flowers. Our duchess is covered with a beautiful raspberry-colored struck velvet with a flower seed pattern from the Manufacture Royale Bonvallet for Lelièvre. The back is also upholstered for use in the center of a living room. Beautiful amateur seat, very comfortable and spectacular in a living room or bedroom.

Very good condition, the velvet is almost new, without wear and without stain.
