Armchair N°221 by Thonet, a proven model circa 1900, is a luxurious armchair that moves away from bistro models while retaining solidity and lightness. Beautiful 7-branch palmette in cut plywood. Capitals at the top of the front legs.
This model is presented here with the "bronze engraving" option on an overall light American mahogany shade. See detail photos.
Very fine original condition, produced in 1905, typical mahogany color of the period.
Cane redone during life in perfect condition.
