Very rare sofa in 3 modules, 2 two-seater benches and a corner seat.
Designed by Norman Bel Geddes (USA 1893-1958) around 1950. He is one of the very first industrial designers, like Raymond Loewy, Walter Dorwin Teague and Henry Dreyfuss.
He is one of the greatest ambassadors of the Streamline movement (1930-1960), N.B.G will produce very few pieces of furniture and objects.
Original period upholstery. The tension is still good, a very worn bench seat back.
