Pretty Shepherdess to the Queen in Green Lacquered Wood, Molded and Carved from the Empire Period, Resting on the Front Legs in Baluster and Rear Saber Legs.

This Bergère is Upholstered with Striped Velvet in Green and Yellow Tones and its Seat Cushion. Its Padded Armrests Decorated with Stylized Palmettes Resting on Concave Consoles. Connecting Dice Decorated with Rosettes. Happy Seating. Good Stability.

Royal Provenance, Bears the Mark on Crossbar in Black Ink: st C 8074; gc3275; b894, Provenance Château de Saint Cloud.

Beautiful Quality Furniture, Attributed to Pierre-Benoît MARCION (1769-1840). Parisian cabinetmaker, one of the main cabinetmakers suppliers to Napoleon. His orders concern the Petit Trianon, the Palais des Tuileries, that of Saint Cloud, Fontainebleau and Laeken.
