Late 16th Century

A Rare and Superb Pair of Renaissance Walnut Chairs on Colonette Legs Joined by a Square Brace.

The Architecture of this Chair is Vertical and Its Planes Straight, It is Trimmed on the Armrests, Backrest and Seat with Velvet Fabric in Orange Tones. Their backrests are adorned with Sculpted Palmettes.

Good seating. Good stability.

Very fine quality furniture, testifying to the sobriety and elegance of the French Renaissance.

Renaissance period, from the end of the 16th century.
